BAD PHONE PICTURES – Meshuggah wsg Cynic @ House of Blues (02/15/09)

So, I was not a fan of Meshuggah’s last album, but Cynic, on the other hand, released the best metal album of 2008 with Traced In Air – and given that the band haven’t performed in the US in years, that was more than enough reason to attend.

Overall, the show was quite good. Cynic were amazing, and Meshuggah somehow managed to make those songs from Obzen that I disliked so much…well, kind of good.
